This article explains how to include return envelopes with prepaid postage in your mailing. This is often used when recipients need to return documents, and you want to cover the return postage for them.

When to Use Prepaid Return Envelopes
If your recipients need to send documents back to you, including a return envelope with prepaid postage makes the process easier for them. This is especially helpful for:
- Forms or documents that require a signature or return
- Pre-addressed reply mail where the sender covers the postage
How to Add a Prepaid Return Envelope
- Go to the Job Inserts Review screen during the job creation process.
- Click the blue Add an Envelope button.
- A list of return envelope options will appear.
- Select the prepaid postage option that fits your needs.
- Click Add to include it in your mailing.
Available Prepaid Envelope Options
All return envelopes are #9 plain white, windowless, and include your return address printed in the recipient location. Two prepaid options are available:
#9 Return Envelope with Live Metered Postage
- Includes 4 blank lines in the upper-left corner for the recipient to write their return address.
- Postage is applied using a postage meter.
#9 Hand Match Return Envelope with Live Metered Postage
- Your recipient’s address is printed in the return address area.
- Postage is applied using a postage meter.
- Ideal for lists with multiple recipient-specific return addresses.
Once added, the return envelope will be included for each recipient in the mailing, complete with prepaid postage.
