Who Sent Me This Letter?

If you received a letter that was mailed to you through the LetterStream service, we are unable to share any details related to who sent the letter, when they sent it, or what the letter contained.  As you can imagine, it is extremely difficult for us to determine who is the rightful recipient of the letter, therefore our policy is to not divulge any information about the users of our service. This policy is not unlike any other internet-based services with strict privacy policies.

If you believe you are being harassed or threatened by users of the LetterStream service, please contact the local authorities.  We do cooperate with US Postal Inspectors and law enforcement agencies in the event that someone is using our service in an illegal manner.

This is true for Certified Mail, First-Class, FedEx and any other types of mail that we send.
