Getting Started

Sometimes a PDF may have page dimensions larger than 8.5" x 11", which is the standard paper size used by LetterStream. Fortunately, there’s an easy fix to resize your PDF for upload.

Check Your PDF’s Page Size

To determine if your PDF is too large:

  1. Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  2. Press Ctrl + D or go to File > Properties.
  3. Under the Advanced section, look for the page dimensions.

Example: A PDF sized at 23.61 x 30.56 inches will need to be resized.

Resave as a Reduced-Size PDF

To shrink the PDF to standard size:

  1. Open the PDF.
  2. Go to File > Print.
  3. Under the Page Sizing & Handling section:
    • Select Microsoft Print to PDF as the printer.
    • Choose Shrink oversized pages.
    • Uncheck “Choose paper source by PDF page size.”
  4. Click Print and save the new file when prompted.

This process will generate a new PDF that fits within the 8.5" x 11" limit and should upload correctly.
