Getting Started

Duplex printing, also known as double-sided printing, allows your documents to be printed on both sides of the paper. This setting can help reduce paper usage and mailing costs.

How to Enable Duplex Printing

To print your document double-sided:

  1. Go to the Job Inserts Review page in your LetterStream account.
  2. Click the blue Add A Document button at the bottom of the page.
  3. In the pop-up menu, select the document to upload.
  4. Under Print Option, select Duplex Printing from the available choices.
  5. Click Upload and Add to Mailing to add the insert.

If your document has already been uploaded, just click the pencil icon below the document's thumbnail to edit its settings.



Where to Find the Setting

The duplex option is located in the same window where you can adjust other document properties such as:

  • Paper type
  • Ink color
  • Stapling options

Additional Tips

  • Make sure your document is formatted appropriately for duplex printing (e.g., even number of pages if needed).
  • Review the document proofs to ensure the layout appears correctly on both sides before approving the job.
  • If the job has already been approved, no changes can be made to the printing options.
