Landscape and Portrait Printing
When using the LetterStream website, you'll be provided with "proofs" which will show you exactly how we're going to print your documents. By default, our system will automatically rotate the orientation of every page of your document to portrait orientation, but it won't rotate the contents of the document. For example, you can see that this page is formatted as landscape:
Our system will automatically rotate this page to portrait orientation, but without rotating the actual contents (text and images) within it. This is how the above document would appear in the proof, and how it would be printed out:
With that in mind, if you need one or more of the pages within a document to be printed as landscape, you'll need to manually rotate the entire page within the PDF file prior to uploading it to our website. For example, let's say you have a three-page file and one page is landscape, as shown in this example:
You can see that page two is orientated as landscape in the document, but before uploading it to our website it should be rotated to the direction you want it to print, as shown in this example:
Pages can be rotated in a PDF platform such as Adobe Acrobat.
