This article explains how to correct or update recipient addresses during the review stage of your job, and what to do if editing is not available.

How to Edit an Address

  1. Go to your recipient list during the job setup.
  2. Click the “EDIT” link to the right of the address you want to change (just to the left of the “view” button).
  3. Make the necessary modifications to the recipient address.

Note: Edits made here will not change your original uploaded file. If you used a data file (CSV), remember to update the source file separately to avoid future errors.


When Editing Is Not Available

Some job types do not allow address edits directly from the recipient list. Additionally, no changes can be made to addresses once the job has been approved.

If you don’t see the “EDIT” option:

  • You’ll need to delete the mailing
  • Make the corrections in your original data file
  • Re-upload the corrected file to start a new job

Additional Considerations

  • Always double-check your address list before approval
  • Review the proofs to make sure the addresses appear correctly
  • Save your edited or corrected files locally for future mailings
